EMSPowered Intake vs The "other" Intakes

We have had this question time and time again so we figured we would take some photos for you guys as a comparison.

Regarding why our intakes are better than the all mighty Apexi & HKS intakes. It's really simple when you look at them side by side and do a direct comparison of each. It's very obvious why the EMSPowered intakes make more power than even the best intakes on the market.

First off, every other intake on the market uses the factory rubber/metal elbow which goes between the filter and the turbo. This factory piece is not only small in diameter (around 2 inches at the smallest point), but it also takes 2 sharp 90 degree turns before entering the turbo.

Here are some photos of the just the filter used on the EMSPowered intake versus the entire Apexi intake assembly side by side. The one thing that you don't see in the photos is that the custom filters used on the EMSPowered intakes are made with a reverse velocity stack inside the filter, and a built in velocity enhancing "lip" right before the part that clamps onto the pipe. All of these things come into play in how well an intake performs. It's not a matter of simply slapping a filter on a pipe. This is the same filter shell that is used on both our 3" intakes and 4" intakes. The only difference between the filter used on our 3" and 4" intakes is the inner diameter of the lip that mounts to the intake pipe.
