MR2 Subwoofer + Enclosure Combo
We have tested 16 different subwoofers with this enclosure to get the best match for a great performing combination that will blow away any other setup.
The enclosure is our very own design. It is CAD designed and CNC cut for a precise fit in the 1990-1999 MKII Toyota MR2. Our enclosure allows for maximum seat travel as well, which means you will not lose that precious space. As seen HERE.
These subwoofers were chosen out of 16 high end subwoofers that we tested. The result is an amazing combination that will blow you away. These subwoofer/enclosure combinations realistically outperform most high end 10" and 12" subwoofers that cost several times more. The Dayton is a power hungry subwoofer which will take anything you can throw at it. While the Tang Band will provide amazing bass response with a fairly low wattage amplifier. Both perform well with lower powered amplifiers in the 100-200watt range. But the Dayton really comes alive when you use thick gauge wire with a larger 500+watt amplifier to feed it.
