MR2 Performance Sidemount Intercooler Piping

After receiving my ebay Greddy style IC, couplers and piping I was certain these would need to be replaced with something 'better'. I researched different shops and had to choose between KO and EMS. I went with EMS because I'd already ordered parts from them and knew what kind of quality I could expect. Having received the parts I am not disappointed.

The pipes themselves are solid and weigh more than any cheap ebay pipe. The S-pipe is cleanly bent with only a very light ridge on the inside of the bends (this is normal for mandrel bends). The pipe to the TB is a work of art with clean welds and smooth curves. My example had a bit of swarf inside but that can be cleaned out without any problems. One thing could be better - the welds are rough on the inside of the pipe and very difficult to grind down because of there position and the fact, that taking too much material away will weaken the joint.
Maybe a thought for future versions!? I had to cheat with the couplers - my IC has custom in-/oulets in 63mm so the reducers are not applicable. Unfortunately no-one offers sets with straight 63mm couplers, so I stretched the reduced end over the pipes - worked like a dream :O) The quality of the couplers is top notch - 4ply black silicone with clean cuts and all the right lengths. The clamps are the shiznit! I don't know exactly how the work, but they look good - I still have a bunch of T-bolt if these don't work properly. I wonder if anyone offers the combination T-bolt and constant torque?? We all know the worm clamps tend to crap out after time :O))
